Glen Cove, NY - Today, Congressman Tom Suozzi (D—Long Island, Queens) announced the winner and runner-up of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge, a national competition in which high school students use a programming language to create an application for a PC, web, tablet, mobile device, or other device.
Washington, DC - The Democratic Steering & Policy Committee announced today that Congressman Tom Suozzi (D—Long Island, Queens) has been reappointed to a coveted seat on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, the chief tax-writing panel in Congress. He returns to the seat he held during the 116th and 117th Congresses. Mr. Suozzi will serve as the only Democrat from New York on the panel.

Glen Cove, NY - Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-Nassau, Queens) has announced that the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) has been awarded $2 million in funding, administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to establish a Next Generation Artificial Intelligence Center for Advanced Cancer Diagnostics.
Suozzi secured the funding in 2022 for Fiscal Year 2023. This week, Suozzi joined Dr. Bruce Stillman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, to tour the new supercomputer storage infrastructure system at CSHL
