Glen Cove, NY – Congressman Tom Suozzi (D—Long Island, Queens) recognized and honored high school students from New York's Third Congressional District for their achievements in life science, computer science, and mathematics in the Regeneron Science Talent Search and the Congressional App Challenge.
 
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory hosted the ceremony, during which Suozzi was introduced by Dr. Bruce Stillman, President and CEO.

Suozzi Introduces Resolution Celebrating the American-Korean Alliance

Washington, D.C.- Today, Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-NY) introduced a resolution celebrating the alliance between the United States and South Korea. Suozzi was also presented with an honorary seventh-degree Taekwondo black belt by Grandmaster Dr. Lee Dong-sup, President of Kukkiwon, the governing body of Taekwondo, due to his long standing support for the Korean American community.

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Tom Suozzi (D - Long Island, Queens) released the following statement regarding the ceasefire-hostage deal between Israel and Hamas:
 
“Today’s news of a six-week ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is bittersweet. While I am overjoyed about the potential release of some hostages, I am heartbroken that my constituent Omer Neutra, and so many others, will be not return home alive. The Neutra family’s advocacy helped make this deal possible.

Washington, DC - The Democratic Steering & Policy Committee announced today that Congressman Tom Suozzi (D—Long Island, Queens) has been reappointed to a coveted seat on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, the chief tax-writing panel in Congress. He returns to the seat he held during the 116th and 117th Congresses. Mr. Suozzi will serve as the only Democrat from New York on the panel.
