Internships
Internships in our Washington, DC and District Offices run throughout summer, fall, and spring semesters.
DC Internships
These are paid internships geared toward college students and recent college graduates. Hours are generally 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on voting days and 9:00 am to 5:00pm on non-voting days. In the fall and spring sessions, hours can be flexible to accommodate students’ hectic course schedules.
Please complete and submit the form below to apply for an internship in the DC office. Ensure that you have your cover letter and resume ready to upload at the end of this form. Submitting these documents is required.
District Internships
District internships are volunteer experiences. Interns are assigned to the Glen Cove office and assist with general office duties and constituent outreach activities.
Given the number of requests for summer internships, the sessions are limited to two days per week for one month. Preference is given to college students who reside in NY-03. The deadline for applying for Summer 2026 is March 31, 2026. Students will be notified if they are accepted in mid-May.
Internships are also available for the fall and spring semesters. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
To apply for an internship in the district, please send a resume and cover letter to Cindy Rogers at cindy.rogers@mail.house.gov.
The Office of Congressman Suozzi is no longer accepting applications for Spring 2026 internships. We encourage interested applicants to check back in next semester for Summer 2026 opportunities.
