Washington, D.C. – Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-NY), a member of the Congressional India Caucus and a champion of interfaith understanding, made history during a recent bipartisan Congressional delegation trip to Pakistan by becoming the first sitting Member of the United States Congress to visit the sacred Kartarpur Sahib via the Kartarpur Corridor.
The Kartarpur Corridor, a historic initiative jointly undertaken by India and Pakistan, allows Sikh pilgrims from India visa-free access to the final resting place of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism.

“Yaum-E-Paksistan Mubarak!” Suozzi declared.

Glen Cove, NY— On the heels of yesterday’s NCAA Selection Sunday for its yearly March Madness basketball tournament, Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-NY) released his own version of March Madness: “March Madness Budget Cuts.”
 
With this bracket, Suozzi hopes to draw attention to the dangers of these cuts and the recklessness with which they continue to be made.
 
“The most exciting part of the college basketball season starts today, but there is a different kind of ‘March Madness’ happening in Washington,” said Suozzi.

Washington, D.C.— Congressman Suozzi (D-NY) introduced bipartisan legislation with Congressman Moolenaar (R-MI) to creatively address America’s growing long term care crisis.
 
The Well-Being Insurance for Seniors to be at Home (WISH) Act would create a federal catastrophic long term care insurance program that provides financial support for disabled seniors while fostering a more vibrant private sector insurance market.

Glen Cove, NY-- Almost 10,000 people participated in Congressman Tom Suozzi’s tele-town hall on Thursday evening. Suozzi shared updates from Washington, discussed pressing issues, and took live telephone questions and comments from callers. 

In his remarks, Suozzi acknowledged the division that many people are feeling.

Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Suozzi (D-NY) announced that Ronen Neutra, Plainview resident and father of American hostage Omer Neutra, will be his guest tomorrow at President Trump’s Joint Congressional Address.

“With so much going on, we cannot forget that our local resident, Omer Neutra, was murdered, and his body is still being held hostage by Hamas,” said Suozzi.

March 1 Budget Briefing Meeting

Hempstead, NYOn Saturday, Representatives Tom Suozzi (NY-03) and Laura Gillen (NY-04) hosted an in-person budget briefing at Hofstra University, drawing a crowd of more than 700 people. The event focused on the potentially harmful effects of the partisan budget reconciliation bill passed by the House of Representatives on Tuesday, February 25th. They were joined by several guest speakers, including Michael Dowling, CEO of Northwell Health, the largest employer in New York State.

These letters request investigations into whether DOGE's access to payment systems has compromised sensitive and confidential taxpayer information.
