June 10, 2024
Washington, DC - Today, June 7, 2024, officially marks 100 days since Congressman Tom Suozzi (D - Long Island, Queens) was sworn in as the U.S. Representative for the people of the Third Congressional district after winning the special election on February 13, 2024.
Since his February 28th swearing in, Congressman Suozzi has had a busy and productive first 100 days:
Suozzi urged President Biden to take strong action to bring "Order to the Border.” Suozzi stood  at the White House when he announced an executive order to fix the asylum system and speed up deportations, a major shift in how the United States has handled claims for protection.
