Suozzi, Ukraine Caucus Send Bipartisan Letter to President Trump Ahead of Friday Meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy

Washington, DC – Today, Problem Solvers Co-Chair Tom Suozzi (D-NY), alongside the bipartisan Ukrainian Congressional Caucus Co-Chairs Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL), Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC), and former House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX), led a letter to President Trump ahead of his White House meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The letter commends President Trump’s recent efforts to secure peace in Ukraine and urges the Administration to follow through on his statements to provide additional advanced weapons to Ukraine and levy new sanctions against Russia, including those who purchase oil from Russia to fund its war machine, to bring Dictator Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table, as well as ensure Russia is held accountable for the kidnapping of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children.

Additional co-signers include Representatives and Ukraine Caucus Members: Brendan Boyle (PA-02), Jim Costa (CA-21), Danny Davis (IL-07), Joe Morelle (NY-25), Frank Pallone (NJ-06), Brad Schneider (IL-10), and Eric Swalwell (CA-14).
