Suozzi, Problem Solvers Caucus Earn Praise from Republican Ohio Governor John Kasich and Democratic Colorado John Hickenlooper
Today, Congressman Tom Suozzi, who serves as Vice-Chair of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, joined fellow caucus members for a meeting with Republican Ohio Governor John Kasich and Democratic Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. Both governors support the caucus’ goals of stabilizing the individual health care market and lowering costs.
After a news conference, Kasich and Suozzi recorded a video together, where they talked about the importance of getting things done. In the video, Kasich noted that Suozzi was “somebody that’s willing to get out there and take some heat in an effort to try to solve problems to improve your life.”
“To have two great American leaders like Governors Kasich and Hickenlooper supporting our efforts on the Problem Solvers Caucus means that we’re moving in the right direction. People are sick of politicians playing politics and never getting anything done. We’re here to get things done, we have the momentum, and we’re going to keep moving forward,” said Congressman Suozzi.
In late July, the Problem Solvers Caucus unveiled their bipartisan proposal to stabilize the individual health care market. The caucus is made up of 22 Democrats and 22 Republicans working across party lines to try and come up with solutions to America’s biggest problems.
